Peter Smith

Peter Lanier Smith, 59, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born May 13, 1955, in Marietta, GA, he was the son of the late Thomas Lanier and Patricia Matusak Smith. He was a member of Olive Springs Baptist Church in Smyrna, GA. Surviving are his brother, Philip M. Smith of Spartanburg, SC; sisters, Laura Smith Maxwell and Talley Smith Traylor, both of Locust Grove, GA, and Charllayne Smith Wallis of Las Vegas, NV; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, December 29, 2014, at Olive Springs Baptist Church, Marietta, GA, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Randy M. Sheek. Burial will be in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.
