Perry Mathis

Perry Russell Mathis, 56, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, November 2, 2016, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born April 25, 1960, in Morehead City, NC, he was the son of the late Donald Leon Mathis and Carolyn Jean Mathis. A graduate of Spartanburg High School, Mr. Mathis was formerly employed with Una Print Shop, Inc. and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his brother, Keith Mathis (Barbara) of Pacolet, SC; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Friday, November 4, 2016, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Dr., Pacolet, SC 29372. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Tommy Huddleston. Burial will be in Goucher Baptist Church Cemetery, 415 Goucher Creek Rd., Gaffney, SC 29340. Memorials may be made to Mobile Meals Service, PO Box 461, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
