Peggy Shehan

Peggy Joyce Martin Shehan, 79, of Pacolet, died Friday, May 11, 2012 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born May 11, 1933, she was the daughter of the late David Holt and Alice Mae Gibson Martin and wife of the late Robert David Shehan. Mrs. Shehan was formerly employed with S&S Manufacturing and at Hardee's in Pacolet. She was a member of Pacolet Mills Baptist Church, and Eastern Star, Dorcus Chapter #177. Surviving are her sons, David Wayne Shehan and wife Tammy Marie and Roger Dale Shehan and wife Tammy Marlene; grandchildren, Christen Alley and husband Ricky, Nickie Daves and husband Will, and Johnathan David Shehan; great-grandchildren, Baylie Daves, Nathan Daves, Kylan Alley and Brooke Alley; and brother, James "Pud" Orrie Martin. She was predeceased by brothers, Tom, Billy, Johnny, Lee, and Donald Martin; and sisters, Evelyn Seals, "Mamie" Louise Sullivan, Betty Elizabeth Martin, and Lillie Mae Allie. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Monday, May 14, 2012 at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel. Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel by the Rev. Norman Band. Burial will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens.
