Peggy Phillips

Peggy Henderson Phillips, 86, of Spartanburg, SC, died May 9, 2018, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital-Spartanburg. Born August 20, 1931, in Mint Hill, NC, she was the daughter of the late Donald Alexander Henderson and Martha Mae Bartlett Henderson and widow of Robert Frederick Phillips. Mrs. Phillips was a member of Living Water Community Church and retired from the Spartanburg Blood Bank. Survivors include her daughter, Lynn Turney (Richard) of Boiling Springs, SC; grandchildren, Robert Dylan Worthy, Taylor Jane McCutcheon, Caleb Linn Durham, Coley Alexander Durham, Michael Ryan Heatherington, and Casey Marie Heatherington; great-grandchildren, Alijah McCutcheon, Neveah McCutcheon, and Robert Worthy Jr.; sister, Raymell Goodman of Norwood, NC; and companion, John Allen Wise. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two daughters, Lisa Renee McCutcheon and Donna Kay Heatherington. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, May 14, 2018, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by Pastor Frank Bryant. Entombment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Living Water Community Church, 9150 Asheville Hwy, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. The family is at their respective homes.
