Peggy Mcdade

Peggy Mabry McDade, 85, of Glenn Springs, SC, died Friday, February 3, 2017 at The Inverness of Spartanburg. Born May 16, 1931 in Columbia, SC, she was the daughter of the late Virginia Mabry Cannon and stepdaughter of the late Giles Cannon and wife of the late James Harold "Jim" McDade. Peggy graduated from Pauline High School and Robinson's Business School. She was retired from Barclay's American Financial Corp. and Lancaster Paint Sundries, Inc. She was a member of Glenn Springs Presbyterian Church and a former choir member serving faithfully in other areas. Survivors include her stepson, James M. McDade; two step-grandsons, Michael and Jacob McDade; and one step-great granddaughter, Nicole. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Monday, February 6, 2017, at Glenn Springs Presbyterian Church, 6001 Highway 215, Pauline, SC 29374 by the Rev. Dr. B.E. Pettit and the Rev. Bart Mitchell. Burial will be in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Glenn Springs Presbyterian Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 279, Pauline, SC 29374.
