Peggy Ledbetter

Peggy G. Ledbetter, 83, of Spartanburg, died Thursday, September 6, 2012, at her home. Born March 7, 1929, in Spartanburg, she was the widow of Joe Dean Ledbetter and daughter of the late Grady and Buna Fowler Gunter. Mrs. Ledbetter was retired from Spartanburg County School District 7 and a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Jana Lynn Ledbetter of Spartanburg, SC; son, Joel Dean Ledbetter and wife Candice of Easley, SC; grandchildren, Patrick Braden Ledbetter, Leslie Joelle Ledbetter, and Lindsay Grace Ledbetter; and a brother, Eugene Gunter of Gaffney, SC. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, September 7, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 8, 2012, at Zion Hill Baptist Church, by the Rev. Keith Davis. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
