Peggy King

Peggy Glass King, 81, of Spartanburg, died Thursday, November 22, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born April 6, 1931, in Pacolet Mills, SC, she was the widow of Albert Marvin King and daughter of the late Jesse Jerome and Minnie Harris Glass. Mrs. King was a member of Spartanburg Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her daughters, Sherry K. Isenhower, Karen K. Neal (Edward) - Spartanburg, Ramona Burleson (Randy) - Shelby NC, and Melissa Shill (Charlie) - Moore; 11 grandchildren, Dawn T. Kunak, Brandy Harrelson, Michelle Bridges, Crystal Blanton, Shaye Dase, Henry Kohl II, Heather Berry, Jennifer Bland, Charles Shill, Jr., Jessica I. Smith, and Amelia Shill; 18 great-grandchildren; and three nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Vern Dale King; son-in-law, Ernie Isenhower; and sister, Frances G. Burgess. Visitation will be 2:00-3:15 PM Sunday, November 25, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 3:30 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Peter A. Waid. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
