Peggy Piercy Jolly, 73, of Spartanburg, formerly of Old Fort, NC, died Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at her home. Born May 7, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Moran Wesley and Ruth Zachary Piercy and wife of the late Michael N. "Mattress Max" Jolly, Sr. Peggy was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and owner and co-founder of Mattress Max Furniture Liquidators. She was a volunteer for multiple organizations including Mobile Meals Service, Hospice, and God's Helpers of Kentucky. She was also a board member for Rivers of Water Ministry and a volunteer at the Midway Boarding Home. Survivors include three sons, Michael N. Jolly, Jr. of Lake Blalock, Jimmy Jolly and his wife Paula of Spartanburg, and Jeff Jolly and his wife Lori of Lake Blalock; a daughter, Ruthanne Hall and her husband Phillip of Moore; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a brother, Jerry Piercy of Skyland, NC. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, February 4, 2011 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Jim Oliver and the Rev. Dr. Timothy Fowler.
