Peggy Horne

Peggy Sarratt Horne, 82, of Spartanburg, SC, died Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born December 23, 1934 in Gaffney, SC, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Blanche Harmon Sarratt. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dennis Randolph "Randy" Horne. Peggy was retired cosmetician at Rite Aid drug store. She was a member of Cudd Memorial Baptist Church where she was a nursery worker and a member of the Love Sunday School Class. Survivors include a son, William "Bill" Horne (Kathy) of Roebuck, SC; granddaughter, Amy H. Bradshaw of Roebuck, SC; brothers, Herbert Sarratt of Gaffney, SC; Bill Sarratt (Sadie) of Gaffney, SC; sister, Brenda Owensby (Mike) of Spartanburg, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her husband, she was also predeceased by a son, Dennis Wayne Horne and sisters, Martha Blackwood; Alberta Blackwood; Blanche Bagwell and Mary Parris. Visitation will be 2:30 - 3:45 PM Monday, January 2, 2017 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral service will follow at 4:00 PM in the chapel, conducted by the Rev. Dusty Martin and the Rev. Ronnie Norris. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307. The family will be at the home of Bill and Kathy Horne.
