Peggy Mae Steading Honeman, 70, of Boiling Springs, SC, died Sunday, May 22, 2016 at her home. Born September 30, 1945 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late William Robert and Virgie Rodgers Steading. Mrs. Honeman was a member of Parkway Free Will Baptist Church. She was formerly employed with Spartanburg School District 2 and 6 Food Program and BMG/Sony Music Distribution. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Charles "Chuck" Alan Honeman; daughter, Angi H. Jackson of Boiling Springs, SC; granddaughter, Brooke Jackson; nephews, Tom Cannon and Tim Cannon; and cat, Martin. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Charles "Chad" Alan Honeman II; and sister, Judy McCue. Visitation will be 12:00 noon - 1:45 PM Friday, May 27, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Mitchell Edge and the Rev. Wes Murray. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
