Peggy Prince Harris

Peggy Prince Harris, 90 of Spartanburg, SC passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 12, 2025, in Spartanburg. Peggy was born on March 3, 1934, in Spartanburg, SC. She was the daughter of the late Julian Rhett Prince and Clara Wilder Prince.

She was predeceased in death by her husband, William "Billy" Harris; a son, Donnie Harris; sisters, Wilma Robertson, and Louise Newman; and her special friend Bill Cubbitt.

Peggy is survived by her children, Stan (Sharon) Harris, Kenny (Anna) Harris, Kathi (Eddie) Mumpower, Ronnie (Elaine) Harris and Angie Harris. Peggy was blessed to have 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren who were the joy of her life.

Peggy's love for the Lord and her strong Christian faith was the most important part of her life. She shared the gospel with everyone she could, even in her last few days she never shied away from telling people about the Lord. Spending time with her family was the next most important aspect of her life. She was the best mother any child could ever have and the best grandmother a grandchild could ever have. Peggy always wanted to look her best and shopping was a hobby she always enjoyed.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM -2:30 PM on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Beaumont Baptist Church, 945 Beaumont Ave., Spartanburg, SC, 29303.

Funeral service will begin at 2:30 PM at Beaumont Baptist Church; services will be conducted by the Rev. John Lee and the Rev. Manning Strickland.

Burial will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
