Pearl Smith

Pearl Moore Smith, 98, formerly of Pacolet Mills, SC, died Thursday, January 15, 2015, at Colleton Medical Center, Walterboro, SC. Born September 17, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Louella Ellison Moore, and widow of William David Smith. Mrs. Smith was a member of Pacolet Mills Church of God and was formerly employed with Spartanburg General Hospital as a nurse's aide. Survivors include three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Floyd Moore of Pacolet, SC; and daughter-in-law, Carolyn Smith of Goose Creek, SC. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, David Edward Smith; and six brothers and sisters. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Monday, January 19, 2015, in Pacolet Memorial Gardens, 141 Memorial Dr., Pacolet, SC 29372, by Pastor Michael Hutchins.
