Pearl Blanchard

Pearl Kelly Blanchard, 95, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, September 07, 2016, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born May 17, 1921 in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late M. B. Kelly and Gussie Pearl Davis Kelly and widow of W. Earl Blanchard. A member of Southside Baptist Church, Mrs. Blanchard was retired from Milliken & Company after 30 years of service as a secretary in the Purchasing Department. Survivors include her son, Monty B. Blanchard (Sandi) of Woodruff, SC; grandchildren, Susan Cooper (Michael) of Campobello, SC, Deana Tucker (Mark) of Spartanburg, SC and Jada Nadeau of Huntersville, NC and eight great-grandchildren, Caleb, Rachel, Moriah, Daniel, Austin, Natalie, Madison and Ayden. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra B. Riddle (Mack) and two brothers, Roy B. Kelly and Jack L. Kelly. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 11, 2016 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Schuyler Peterson. Visitation will follow at the graveside. Memorials may be made to Hope Center for Children, P. O. Box 1731, Spartanburg, SC 29304 or to Southside Baptist Church, 316 S. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306. The family is at the home.
