Pawnees Miller

Pawnees B. Miller, 93, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Woodruff Manor. She was born August 9, 1921 in Pacolet, SC to the late William Anderson and Althea Lovings Berry. Mrs. Miller was retired from Arkwright Mills and loved her work as custodian of Park Hills Church of God. She was a lifelong member of LifeSpring Church formerly known as Park Hills Church of God. Survivors include daughters, Sharon M. (Mitch) Byers of Spartanburg and Vanessa M. (Gary) Ownbey of Boiling Springs; sons Larry P. Miller, Sr. of Boiling Springs, and James A. Miller of Gaffney; 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and brother, Dean Berry of Pawleys Island, SC. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Monroe Miller, Sr.; a son, Robert M. Miller, Jr.; and a great-great grandson, Sawyer McGee. Visitation will be at 2:00 - 2:45 PM Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel conducted by the Reverend Mitchell Byers and the Reverend Tony Didway. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307. The family will be at their respective homes.
