Pauline Jenks

Pauline Calvert Jenks, 85, formerly of Spartanburg, SC, died Sunday, February 19, 2012, at Fair Haven Home, Bostic, NC. Born October 14, 1926, in Polk County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Vaughn H. and Zoar Ridings Calvert, and wife of the late Edward Jenks. Mrs. Jenks was a member of Whitney United Methodist Church, a longtime textiles employee, and graduate of Green Creek High School, Polk County, NC. Survivors include her brother, Grady Calvert of Eatonton, GA and Dupree Calvert of Forest City, NC; and sister, Lillian Calvert of Forest City, NC. She was predeceased by her son, Larry Jenks; brothers, Jennings and Winfred Calvert; and sisters, Loree Spurlin and Ethel Green. Visitation will be 12:00-12:45 PM Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM, in the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. F.
