Pauline Campbell

Pauline McGraw Campbell, 93, of Spartanburg, died Saturday, March 7, 2015, at White Oak Estates. Born October 18, 1921 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Thomas V. and Elizabeth McGraw. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Harold Austin Campbell. Mrs. Campbell was a former nurse, a graduate of Pacolet High School, where she was the recipient of the DAR good citizenship award, and a graduate of Spartanburg General Hospital School of Nursing. She was a long time member of Ben Avon Baptist Church. Survivors include daughters, Carolyn C. (W.C.) Smith and Ginger C.S. Gregory, Bridget (Barney) Jones; son, Harold K. (Brenda) Campbell; grandchildren, Freida Belue, Robert Smith, Anna Hamrick, Jeffery Smith, Keith Campbell, and Matthew Campbell; great grandchildren, A.J. West, Landon Campbell, Nathan Campbell, Trey Campbell, Caleb Campbell, Cole Hamrick, Carsyn Smith, Sawyer Walden, and Hunter West, all of Spartanburg; and brother Keith McGraw of Lexington. She was predeceased by two grandsons, Trent Smith and Stephen Smith; brothers, Grady, Ray, Alton, Arley, Archie, Ralph, Wayne, and Vanny McGraw; and sisters, Mattie McGraw, Velma Allen, Minnie Lewis Stortzum, and Ina Poole. Visitation will be 2:30-3:30 PM Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Richard King. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307. The family will be at the home of her son, Harold K. Campbell. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SC Hunters for the Hungry, 507 Amelia Avenue, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
