Pauline Allison

Pauline "Polly" Thompson Allison, of Inman, SC, died Monday, August 28, 2017, at the Clinton Presbyterian Community. Born in Rock Hill, SC, she was the daughter of the late William Kilgore Thompson, Sr. and Pauline Anderson Thompson and widow of John Coan Allison, Sr. Mrs. Allison was a Registered Nurse graduate of Spartanburg School of Nursing. She worked at Spartanburg City Visiting Nursing Association and did private duty nursing. Survivors include three children, John Allison, Jr., Rachel Sprayberry, and LeClaire Allison; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 6, 2017, in Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery, 3119 Hwy 56, Pauline, SC 29374, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Greg Butler. The family will receive friends in the church Family Life Center following the service.
