Paula Reuther

Paula Kay Bertz Reuther, 68, of Boiling Springs, SC, died Monday, November 9, 2015, at her home. Born January 21, 1947, in Grand Rapids, MI, she was the daughter of the late William Francis and Elizabeth Ann Hilding Bertz. She retired from Red Lobster after 27 years of service and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her children, Nancy Simpson (Harold) of Spartanburg, SC and Erik Reuther (Jennifer) of Boiling Springs, SC; granddaughter, Niesha Simpson of Spartanburg, SC; great-grandson, Carter Ray; sister, Nancy Fox (Jim) of Ypsilanti, MI; and brothers, John Bertz (Margaret) and Mark Bertz, all of Ann Arbor, MI, Kurt Bertz of Battle Creek, MI, and Bruce Bertz of Ypsilanti, MI. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a grandson, Tylan Simpson. Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 PM Friday, November 13, 2015, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306. Funeral services will follow at 2:30 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by Minister Harold Simpson, Mr. Erik Reuther, and Nancy Simpson.
