Paul Toney

Paul Thomas Toney, 79, of Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, June 26, 2015, at his home. Born October 3, 1935, in Spartanburg County, he was the son of the late John Toney and Gladys Mabry Whitehead. Mr. Toney was a member of Arcadia First Baptist Church and formerly employed with Daniels Construction and Piedmont Mechanical. Surviving are his daughter, Carol George of Spartanburg, SC; grandson, Chris Nicolai of Boiling Springs, SC; brothers and sisters, Harold Toney of Walnut Grove, SC, Frances Compton of Boiling Springs, SC, Fred Toney of Atlanta, GA, and Betty Toney. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by daughters, Debbie Toney Lattimore and Sandra Toney Nicolai; and son-in-law, Aaron George. A graveside service will be conducted at 4:00 PM Monday, June 29, 2015, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Dr. E. Jennings Putnam.
