Paul Ondrus

Paul F. Ondrus, 84, of Boiling Springs, died Wednesday, August 17, 2011, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born May 29, 1927, in Vermilion, OH, son of the late Steven and Mary Polk Ondrus, and husband of the late Mary Fayak Ondrus. Mr. Ondrus was a veteran of the U. S. Navy during World War II. He was retired from Cooper-Standard Products as an engineer, a member of Knights of Columbus for 60 years achieving a 4th Degree status, and a member of The Catholic Church of Jesus Our Risen Savior. Survivors include his sons, Paul J. Ondrus (wife Barb), Jim Ondrus (wife Susan), Robert Ondrus (wife Beth), and Joe Ondrus (wife Laurie); 13 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. A Rosary will begin at 6:00 PM Sunday, August 21, 2011, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, visitation will follow until 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:00 AM Monday, August 22, 2011, in The Catholic Church of Jesus Our Risen Savior, by the Rev. Ted Kalaw.
