Paul Loizakes

Paul Peter Loizakes, 80, USAF Ret., of Spartanburg, died Friday, December 16, 2011, at his home. Born August 25, 1931, in Savannah, GA, he was the son of the late Michael George and Mary Tann Loizakes and husband of the late Agnes Elaine Dotson Loizakes. He was retired from the US Air Force. Survivors include a stepson, James Linder and Suzanne Balistreri of San Diego, CA; two daughters, Vickie Hansen and husband Don of Mauldin and Susan Fennell and husband Curtis of Greenwood; three granddaughters, Samantha and Amanda Linder and Melanie Fennell; two grandsons, Shane Wing and Hayden Fennell; and three sisters. He was predeceased by a son, Gregory Loizakes. A memorial service with military rites by the SC State Guard Honors Team will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 19, 2011, at New Hope Outreach Church, 4633 Cannons Campground Road, Spartanburg, conducted by the Rev.
