Paul A. Hyatt

Paul A. Hyatt, 84, of Spartanburg, passed away on Sunday evening, February 11, 2024, at Valley Falls Terrace.  Paul was born on May 28, 1939, in Spartanburg, a son of the late Walter and Clara Watson Hyatt. He was married to the late Patricia Moore Hyatt. 

A member of Word of Life Church (formerly United Baptist Church), Paul was a longtime employee of Plastic Injectors.  He graduated from Spartanburg High School and he enjoyed his weekly lunch outings with his high school classmates at The Beacon. 

Surviving are his sons, Bryan Hyatt and John Hyatt (Denise); his daughter, Alaina Brock (Jeff); his grandchildren, Jessica, Rachel, Sarah and Zachary; his 7 great-granddaughters; and his two sisters, Sarah Willard and Etta Tipton.  Paul was predeceased by his brother, James Hyatt; and two sisters, Elizabeth Caccavale and Dorothy Earl. 

The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:15 pm Friday, February 16, 2024, at Word of Life Church, 7319 Valley Falls Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303. Funeral service will follow at 2:30 pm, conducted by the Rev. Robert Emory. Burial will be in Fort Prince Memorial Gardens.
