Patricia "Pat" Hood

Patricia “Pat” White Hood, 69, of Gaffney, SC died Thursday, August 4, 2022. Born April 13, 1953 in Union, SC, she was the daughter of the late Albert White and Joanne Holladaye.

Pat retired from Deslee Textile where she served as head of Quality Control. She was of the Baptist faith and held strong Christian values. A great cook, Pat was also a kind and selfless individual who loved her Lord and family. Pat also loved her house at Lake Greenwood, her garden, nature, and all animals. She was an excellent seamstress also.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond K. Hood of the home; children, Tracy Sinclair (David) of Pauline, SC, Jackie Brawley (Debbie) of Jonesville, SC, Cindy Allen (Jamie) of Boiling Springs, SC, Daniel Hood of Pacolet, SC, and Melissa Sellers of Beaufort, SC; 11 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. Pat is predeceased by her sister, Mary Lou Moore; and brother, Tommy White.

Visitation will be from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM Sunday, August 7, 2022 at Floyd’s Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Dr, Pacolet, SC 29372. The service will follow at 3:00 PM. Burial will then follow at Pacolet Memorial Gardens, 141 Memorial Dr, Pacolet, SC 29372.
