Patricia Wright

Pat Wright, 79, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, December 22, 2016 at her home. Born June 23, 1937 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Francis Edward and Virginia Maynor Wright. Pat was a self-employed Private Investigator, being the first female in South Carolina to obtain her Private Investigator license. She opened the first Jamboree, Country Time, and Junction. She loved her church family at Solid Rock Church. Survivors include her sister, Judy Pruitt (Michael) of Roebuck, SC, Joyce Belcher of the home; nieces, Michelle Cantrell, Virginia Yarger (Tim), and Miranda Wiggins; nephews, Tony Yarger and Curtis Wiggins. Also survived by Pamela Watts (Tim), Kimberly Peace (Thomas), Jimmy Belcher (Mitzi), Jake Belcher, Kristen Belcher, Brenda Watts, Patricia Stroud (Josh), Joey Rhymer, Caven, Zayne, Colton, Riley and Ellani. Visitation will be 12:30-1:45 PM Saturday, December 24, 2016, at Solid Rock Church, with services following at 2:00 PM at the church, conducted by the Rev. Randall Lewis. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Complex, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Solid Rock Church Building Fund, 1326 Union St., Spartanburg, SC 29302.
