Patricia Phillips

Patricia "Patty" Ann Jenkins Phillips, 61, of Pauline, SC, died Monday, September 14, 2015, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born June 29, 1954, in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Garland Edward Jenkins and Edith Lilly Linder Jenkins. A loving and devoted wife, mother, Nana, sister, sister-in-law, and friend to all, including "Mr. Kitty" and "Edgar", Mrs. Phillips was a graduate of Dorman High School and member of Fairview Freewill Baptist Church. She retired from Diversco after 25 years of service and was the former CEO of Danny Phillips Custom Builders. Survivors include the love of her life, her husband of 30 years, Joseph Daniel "Danny" Phillips, Jr.; son, Patric Lane Phillips of Spartanburg, SC; step-sons, Joseph Daniel Phillips III of Spartanburg, SC and Jason L. Phillips (Dianna) of Pauline, SC; grandchildren, Lillian Elizabeth Phillips of Pauline, SC, Destiny Faith Cash of Columbia, SC, and Colton Phillips of Fort Mill, SC; twin sister, Debra Jane Wright (Jerry) of Boiling Springs, SC, and sister, Janice Lee Martin (Jim) of Greenville, SC; step-brother and two step-sisters, Mike, Suzanne, and Nancy, all of Tennessee; and a large number of extended family. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, September 17, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, September 18, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, by the Rev. Timothy Hackett. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
