Patricia Slack Keffer

Patricia Ann Slack Keffer, 84, of Boiling Springs, died Monday, February 12,2024, at Pelham Medical Center and Hospital. A native of Kanawha County, West Virginia, she was born on February 17, 1939, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Annie Hill Slack and the wife of 50 years to the late Derald Eugene Keffer..

She retired after 33 years of service in the fiberglass department at Kohler Company and a member of Jackson Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Carl Eugene Keffer (Sarah) of Inman and Teresa Lynn Keffer Peeler of Lyman; grandchildren, Carlee Bright and Jason Peeler (Lindsay); great grandchildren, Mia Bright, Easton Peeler, Delaney Bright and Sadie Peeler; brother, Lloyd Jennings Slack (Patty) of Nitro, W. Va.; sister, Geraldine Thompson (Jr.) of Pacolet. She was predeceased by a sister, Havolline Evans.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, February 16, 2024, at Fort Prince Memorial Gardens, 125 Fort Prince Road, Wellford, SC 29385, conducted by the Rev. Jim McMakin. Visitation will be at the graveside.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cancer Centers of the Carolinas, 120 Dillon Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29307 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude place, Memphis, TN 38105.
