Patricia Hyatt

Patricia Juanita "Pat" Hyatt, 74, of Spartanburg, SC, died Sunday, August 31, 2014, at Valley Falls Terrace-Spartanburg. Born August 21, 1940, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late John Eben and Pearline Peace Moore. Mrs. Hyatt was a member of United Baptist Church in Valley Falls where she was also a member of the Sunshine Sunday School Class. She loved her family and church and loved to cook for her family. Surviving is her loving husband of nearly 55 years, Paul A. Hyatt; children, Bryan Thomas Hyatt and John Robert Hyatt, both of Spartanburg, SC, and Sarah Alaina Brock (Jeffrey) of Landrum, SC; grandchildren, Jessica Nittel (James), Rachel Courtney, Sarah Brock, and Zachary Brock; great-granddaughters, Madison and Emily Nittel, and Beth Courtney; brothers and sister, Philip Moore, Linda Parker, and Terry Moore. Visitation will be 12:00 noon - 12:45 PM Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at United Baptist Church, 7319 Valley Falls Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29303. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM, at the church, conducted by the Rev. Robert Emory. Burial will be in Fort Prince Memorial Gardens, 125 Ft. Prince Rd., Wellford, SC 29385. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 260 Fairwinds Drive, Landrum, SC 29356. The family is at the home of Paul Hyatt.
