Patricia Corn

Patricia Davis Corn, 73, of Spartanburg, died Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born July 10, 1939 in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of Mary Louise Deal Davis of Spartanburg and the late Paul Leonard Davis. She graduated from Spartanburg Methodist College where she was the May Queen in 1958, and retired from District 7 schools with over 20 years of service. Mrs. Corn was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. A loving daughter, wife, and mother, she was devoted to her family and beloved pets. She loved the beach, mountains, traveling, and was a lover of music. In addition to her mother, she was the beloved wife of 52 years to Walter Blaine Corn and loving mother to son and daughter-in-law, Michael Blaine and Jami Fowler Corn of Spartanburg and son Stephen Paul Corn and Shanna Renea Alexander of Landrum; granddaughter, Amelia Blaine Corn of Spartanburg; and sister, Diane Davis Lovelace of Spartanburg. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, conducted by Pastor Scott Linnerud. The family will receive friends following the committal service in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
