Patricia Gayle Bible, born on August 1, 1938, in Cowpens, SC, to Clara Hellen Potts. Gayle passed away on April 22, 2024, at White Oak Manor in Spartanburg. She was a beloved Optician who dedicated her life to caring for others and spreading love wherever she went.
Patricia was known for her unwavering devotion to her husband, Walter Harold Bible. Their relationship was a true testament to love and commitment. Patricia's caring nature extended beyond her profession as she always put her family first. Her children, Larry (Laure) Bible, Anita Campbell (George), and Todd Bible (Jackie), were the center of her world.
Her grandchildren, Leevon Bible (Brittany), Lillie Lype (Scott), Shannon Trone (Josh), Lyla Bible, Nichole Prikhodko (Denis), and Ethan Bible (Savannah) along with 7 great grandchildren who brought immense joy into her life. She cherished every moment spent with them and took great pride in watching them grow.
Growing up in Spartanburg County Schools, Patricia developed a passion for birds and gardening. These hobbies brought her closer to nature and allowed her to find peace and tranquility. She was member of Beaumont Baptist Church in Spartanburg, S.C. In addition to this, she had a special bond with her sister Deanna St. Romaine, sharing countless memories and experiences that strengthened their sisterly bond.
Known for her loving personality and zest for life, Patricia touched the hearts of everyone she met. Her kindness knew no bounds, and she will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
The services to honor and remember Patricia will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Spartanburg on April 26, 2024. The visitation will take place from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM followed by a Graveside Service at 2:00 PM.
