Para Jackson

Para Lee Jackson, 95, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at her home. Born April 28, 1920, in Hicks Grove, NC, she was the daughter of the late Drury Walter and Ella Williams Jackson. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Para Lee was a member of Beaumont Baptist Church and retired from Beaumont Mill after 39 years of service. Surviving is her son, Larry Jackson of Spartanburg, SC. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Roy Jackson, Clarence Jackson, Homer Jackson, Ralph Jackson, Frank Jackson, Wilburn Jackson, Belle Jackson Owensby, Essie Jackson Jolley, and Ethel Jackson Scruggs. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 PM Saturday, October 24, 2015, in Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Rupert Guest. Visitation will follow at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beaumont Baptist Church, 945 Beaumont Avenue, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
