Oscar Green

Oscar Wayne Green, 74, of Boiling Springs, SC, died Monday, October 21, 2013, at his home. Born July 25, 1939, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Robert L. and Edna Shurbert Green. He was a member of Gravely United Methodist Church and retired from Arrow Automotive. Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Joyce Solesbee Green; children, Robbie Green (Michelle), Traci Hewitt (Darren) all of Boiling Springs, and Toni Bishop of Greer; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers and sisters, Richard Green of Boiling Springs, Rachel Mabry of Beaumont, Joe Green of Spartanburg, and Rebecca Settle of Beaumont. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Thursday, October 24, 2013, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Hwy 9 N, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Scott Gilmer. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens, 4081 Hwy 9 N, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
