Ollie Mae Dillard Jamison, 95, formerly of Spartanburg, SC, died Sunday, August 30, 2009, at Brunswick Cove Nursing Home in Winnabow. Born November 8, 1913, in Carrollton, GA, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Hamilton and Alice Elizabeth Hurt Dillard and the wife of the late Reeves Gamble Jamison. She was a member of Green Street Baptist Church of Spartanburg. Survivors include two daughters, Sylvia J. Nail of Boiling Springs, SC, and Deborah J. Hanna and her husband Bill of Soddy Daisy, TN; a sister, Lucille D. Sills of Shelby, NC; thirteen grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Larry D. Jamison; two daughters, Libby J. Mayfield and Mardi N. Brannon; a sister, Genevieve Cloniger; a brother, J. P. Dillard; and three grandchildren. Visitation will be 2:00-2:45 p.m. Wednesday, September 2, 2009, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel conducted by her grandson, the Rev. Kevin Mayfield. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
