Ollie Mae Drake Jackson, 73, of Inman, SC, died Saturday, February 25, 2017, at RoseCrest-Inman. Born December 1, 1943, in Inman, SC, she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Margaret Clayton Drake and widow of Hollis Wayne Jackson, to whom she was married for 53 years. A member of Lake Bowen Baptist Church, Mrs. Jackson was a longtime employee of Butte Knit and later worked with Stouffer's Foods and Spartanburg School District One. She deeply loved her family, spending time at the beach, and gardening. Survivors include her son, Donnie Jackson (Charla) of Inman, SC; granddaughter, Dani Lynn Jackson of Inman, SC; and siblings, Kenneth Drake (Mittie), Betty Shields (Wayne), and Martha Cooper (Buddy) all of Inman, SC and Dianne Shearon (Ken) and Randy Drake (Diane) all of Spartanburg, SC. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Glenn Drake. Visitation will be 12:00-12:45 PM on Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at Lake Bowen Baptist Church, 404 Sugar Ridge Rd., Inman, SC 29349, with services following at 1:00 PM at the church, conducted by the Rev. Mark Williams. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park, 4164 Boiling Springs Rd., Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
