Olive Gallagher

Olive Eleanor Lobb Gallagher, 86, of Spartanburg, died Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at Emeritus at Skylyn Place. Born July 18, 1926, in Duluth, MN, she was the widow of Jessie E. Gallagher and daughter of the late William James John Lobb and Olive Ruth Welliver Lobb. She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. Surviving are her brother, Paul Lobb of Minnesota; sister, Susan Vetvick of St. Pierre, FL; and grandsons, Todd Fink of Seneca, SC, and Tim Fink of Spartanburg, SC. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Linda Sue Fink; and brothers, Wilford Lobb and James Alexander Lobb. Visitation will be 10:00-11:15 AM Friday, February 1, 2013, at Poplar Springs Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:30 AM, at the church, conducted by the Rev. Robert Bevill. Burial will be in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Miracle Hill Ministries, PO Box 2456, Spartanburg, SC 29602.
