Olin Ledford, Sr.

Olin Dean Ledford Sr., 82, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, July 14, 2014, at his home. Born March 4, 1932, in Inman, SC, he was the son of the late Earl Filmore and Carrie McJunkins Ledford, and husband of the late Judy Ann Humphries Ledford. A U. S. Navy veteran, Mr. Ledford was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and Roebuck Masonic Lodge #357. He was a graduate of Cecil's Business College and was retired from Palmetto Mechanical Company. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving are his children, Darleen and Jeff Cassidy of Inman, SC, Nina Ledford, Dean and Kim Ledford, and Dennis Ledford of Spartanburg, SC; his grandchildren, Kaleb and Madison Ledford, Morgan and Juan Garcia, Jackson Ledford, Hunter Ledford, Zac Cassidy and Megan Cassidy; his great-granddaughter, Millicent Rose Ledford; and one brother, Clyde Ledford of Columbia, SC. Visitation will be 12:00 noon - 12:45 PM Friday, July 18, 2014, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. James L. Oliver. Masonic rites as well as military rites will be performed in the Chapel following the services. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
