Olga "Pete" E. Lanford, 76, of Spartanburg, died Saturday, October 1, 2011, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Born June 8, 1935, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Robert Woodfin and Nannie Jennings Lanford. Miss Lanford was a member of Southside Baptist Church, a member of Eastern Star, and retired from Roses Department Store. Survivors include her brother, Dewey Marvin "Buddy" Lanford of Spartanburg; three nephews; three nieces; and sister-in-law, Aileen Chapman Lanford of Atlanta, GA. She was predeceased by a brother, R. W. Lanford, Jr.; and a sister, Frances Toney Duffie. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, October 6, 2011, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, October 7, 2011, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Carrol Caldwell. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
