Oleva Smith

Oleva "Kathy" Kathleen Saunders Smith, 80, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, April 20, 2015, at her home. Born October 8, 1934, in Gallipolis, OH, she was the daughter of the late James Cormie and Helen Marie Wilson Saunders, and widow of Bill Homer Smith. Mrs. Smith was a member of Dove Assembly and retired from Abbott Laboratories. Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Kinder of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Lisa Lancaster and Billy Burgess, both of Cooley Springs, SC, and Johnny Mack Kinder of Spartanburg, SC; 11 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and siblings, Mary Gibson of Spartanburg, SC, and Jody and Dwayne Wilson of Myers Flat, CA. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 23, 2015, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Joe Mosley.
