Norman Harper

Norman Lee Harper, 82, of Spartanburg, SC died Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born July 25, 1938 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late John Walter and Eulala Lavender Harper. Mr. Harper was of the Baptist faith and loved to cut grass in his younger years. Survivors include his brothers, Bernard Harper and John L. Harper; sisters, Sandra Harper, Geraldine Gosnell, and Hazel Tyre, and a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Roy Donald Harper and sister, Margaret Watson. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 12, 2021 in Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by The Rev. Rob Gouge. Visitation will be at the graveside. The family will be at their respective homes. Friends are welcome to come by Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306, Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 11:00 AM - 4:30 PM to pay their respect to Mr. Harper.
