Norma Mortge

Norma Mortge passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. Born In Montreal, Canada, she raised her family in the Bronx, New York until moving to Spartanburg in 1975. Norma was a long-time member of Temple B’Nai Israel where she was an active member of Sisterhood and Hadassah.

She was a long-time sale associate at Belk in Westgate Mall.

Norma was predeceased by her parents, Ben and Clara Barbarash, her brother, John Barbarash and most significantly, her husband, Guenter. Norma is survived by her children, Connie Lindenbaum, Barry Mortge (Carol Teplis) and Lori Mortge, as well as her grandchildren, Josh Lindenbaum, Katie Lindenbaum, Daniel Mortge and Adam Mortge.

Graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at 2:00PM at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
