Norma Lipscomb

Norma Jean Foster Lipscomb, 73, of Boiling Springs, SC, went home to her Heavenly Father on Monday, May 16, 2016, at her home. Born October 2, 1942, in Bluefield, WV, she was the daughter of Maxey C. Carter of Inman, SC and the late Mary Jones Carter. Mrs. Lipscomb retired from Kosa after 34 years of service and worked at Bo's Fish Camp for several years. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her father, survivors include her husband of 53 years, Joseph Thomas Lipscomb; daughter, Tonya Lipscomb Johnson (Curt) of Charlotte, NC; sister, Sue Carroll (Rodney) of Spartanburg, SC; brother, Glenn Bo Carter of Inman, SC; and many nephews, cousins, and aunts. Visitation will be 11:30 AM - 12:45 PM Friday, May 20, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Joey Turner. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
