Norma Knighten

Norma Jean Knighten, 82, of Pacolet, SC, died Monday, January 26, 2015, at Peachtree Centre of Gaffney. Born April 30, 1932, in Gaffney, SC, she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Nannie Mae White Spencer, and widow of Leroy Knighten. Mrs. Knighten retired from Beaumont Mills after 32 years of service. She was a member of Pacolet Mills Church of God and a true lover of flowers and cats. Surviving are her children, Gloria "Beanie" Mosley, Patricia "Pat" Pack, Buddy Knighten, and Jerry Knighten, all of Pacolet, SC; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Cindy Gault. The family will receive friends 1:00-1:45 PM Thursday, January 29, 2015, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Dr., Pacolet, SC 29372. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Michael Hutchins. Burial will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the home of her daughter, Gloria.
