Norma Bozeman Miller, 78, of Spartanburg, died Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Born February 8, 1931, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Pernie Garrett Bozeman and wife of the late Dorsey Lee Miller. She was retired from Mayfair Mills after 15 years of service. She was a member of Ben Avon Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher for senior ladies and treasurer of the 55 Plus Club. Survivors include a daughter, Carlein Hatfield of Spartanburg; two sons, Carl Hatfield, Jr. and his wife Ada of Enoree, and Lamar Hoyt of Columbia; a granddaughter, Kristy Byars of Gaffney; a grandson, Ricky Hatfield of Woodruff; two step-grandchildren, Jason Towery and Danny Simmons, Jr., both of Spartanburg; a great-granddaughter, Makenzi Simmons of Spartanburg; a sister, Abbie Lee Croxdale of Gaffney; and a half-brother, Johnny Lee of Spartanburg. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 4, 2010, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Cryptside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2010, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum conducted by the Rev. Richard King. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ben Avon Baptist Church, 2437 Wallace Avenue, Spartanburg, SC 29302. The family is at the home, 909 Lucerne Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
