Norah Smith

Norah M. Smith, 91, of Moore, SC, died Friday, August 16, 2013, at her home. Born September 22, 1921, in Dundee, Scotland, she was the daughter of the late William Brownlee and Jean Saunders Matthewson. She was a former government employee, a radio operator for the British Air Force in World War II, and a member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church. Survivors include a daughter, Jane Smith Turner of Moore; and a grandson, Luke Turner, of Moore. A memorial service will be conducted at 12:00 noon Wednesday, August 21, 2013, at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, 101 St. Matthews Lane, Spartanburg, SC 29301.
