Nona Fortenberry Revis, 91, of Fairmont, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at her home. Born April 6, 1919, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Clayton Jackson and Louvenia Christopher Fortenberry and the wife of the late William Ezell Revis. She was retired from Raycord and a member of Fairmont Baptist Church. Survivors include four daughters, Agnes Ledford and husband George of Holly Springs, Barbara Burton and husband Wayne of Arden, NC, Judy Johnson of Inman, Susan Hayes of Pauline, and Libby Revis of the home; a son, Randy Revis of the home; a sister, Janie Bell Gray of Spartanburg; twenty-four grandchildren; forty-two great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Rita Hardy. She was predeceased by a son, Leon Revis; a daughter, Sandy Black; five brothers, Bud, Teet, Boyce, Boots, and Rip; and two sisters, Sill and Chick. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 p.m. Friday, April 16, 2010, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 17, 2010, at Care Baptist Church conducted by Pastor Dean Patton and Mr. Bill Henderson.
