Noel Francis Kline, 84, passed away on Monday morning, June 17, 2024, at Spartanburg Medical Center. He was born on December 25, 1939, in Philadelphia, PA, a son of the late John and Laura Marx Kline.
Noel was a retired accountant in the Real Estate and Finance communities. He also was a former motorcycle policeman and a farrier (a craftsman who shoes horses and cares for their hooves). He served as a paratrooper in the US Army and was a longtime active member of the American Legion Post in Philadelphia, PA.
Noel was a kind-hearted man who never complained and was always very appreciative of his friendships.
He was the last survivor of his siblings. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Clare Kline of Philadelphia, PA; a cousin, Jack and Rita Bocchinfuso, and their son Nick; dear friends, Gerald and Barbara Suttles, Tammy Tucker and Brianna McKinney; and a host of other great friends and acquaintances, too many to name.
Special thanks are offered to the staffs of Lake Emory Post Acute Center and Spartanburg Medical Center for the excellent care and comfort provided to Noel Francis Kline.
Mr. Kline will be interred, at a date to be determined, in Philadelphia, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303, your local American Legion Post, or to one’s favorite charity.
