Nellie Frances Lynch

Nellie Lynch, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on July 29,2024, in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She was born on June 23, 1934, in Spartanburg, South Carolina to the late Luther and Virginia Satterfield. 

Nellie was a pillar of strength for her family and a member of Westview Church for 52 years. Her strong faith was evident in everything she did, and she was the puzzle that kept her family united. Nellie had a passion for cooking and baking cakes. She also found solace in attending church services and cherished the time spent with her family and grandchildren. 

She is survived by a daughter; Margaret Stewart (Ronnie), along with grandchildren; Wesley Hembree (Heather), Jason Hembree, Bryan Hembree (Janie), Nikki Hall (Jim), Michael Cole (Tonya), Derrick Cole, Chad Owens (Tammy), Brad Owens and Sean Warren;14 great-grandchildren, a sister; Sarah Johnson and a brother; Harold Satterfield; a son in law Charlie Hembree;  a host of nieces and nephews; fur babies Kara and Maggie. Nellie was preceded in death by her husband; David Lynch, and her parents; Luther Satterfield and Virginia Hayes Satterfield; stepmother; Louise Satterfield; 3 daughters; Gloria Hembree, Pam Owens and Lynn Cole; brothers Frank Satterfield, Paul Satterfield, Roy Satterfield, sisters; Becky Satterfield and Mary Jackson, a granddaughter; Crystal Warren. 

A visitation will be held on August 3, 2024, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel 2075 E. Main Street Spartanburg, Sc 29307 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Richard Peters officiating. The burial will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens 1300 Fernwood- Glendale Rd Spartanburg, Sc 29307, at 12:00 PM.
