Nellie Inman

Nellie "Nell" Lawson Inman, 82, of Boiling Springs, SC, died Sunday, July 5, 2015, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born January 6, 1933, in Pauline, SC, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Jessie Cathcart Lawson. Mrs. Inman was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Paul Morris Sunday School class. She was a graduate of Cecil's Business College and was retired from Piedmont Area Girl Scouts after more than 20 years of service. "Mema" is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Billy H. Inman, Jr.; sons, Billy H. Inman, III (Shirlene) of Landrum, SC and Lee Inman of Boiling Springs, SC; daughter, Sonya Inman Floyd (Max) of Boiling Springs, SC; granddaughters, Kylie I. Holladay (Brian), Anna Inman, Katie Floyd; grandsons, Jake Inman and Evan Floyd; great granddaughters, Julia and Ellie Holladay; sisters, Lila Taylor and Lena Duncan; brother, Chester Lawson (Carolyn); sisters-in-law, Bertha Lawson and Ann Inman. She was predeceased by brothers, Herman and Wilson Lawson; and a sister, Merle Harrison. Visitation will be 12:30 - 1:30 PM Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 626 Norwood St, Spartanburg, SC 29302. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM at the church, by the Rev. Neal Y. Wood. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
