Nellie Finley

Nellie Vandervalk Finley, 84, of Spartanburg, SC died Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. She was born October 30, 1929 in Los Angeles, CA. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Saxon and a longtime member of Saxon Baptist Church choir. Surviving are daughters, Ruth Dixon, Linda Raxter, and Della McDowell all of NC; grandchildren, Scott McDowell, Vanessa Lucas, Melissa Langdale, Edmond Lucas, and Jennifer Dixon; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 2:00-4:00 PM Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church, 821 Whitlock Street, Spartanburg, SC 29301. The family is at their respective homes.
