Nell S. Turner, 94, of 295 Valley High Drive, Inman, formerly of Union, died Sunday, March 28, 2010, at Camp Care Nursing Home. Born July 18, 1915, in Greeneville, TN, she was the daughter of the late David and Nora Kirkpatrick Smith and the wife of the late William Frank Turner Sr.. She was a retired nursing assistant from Mary Black Memorial Hospital and a member of Skylyn United Methodist Church. Survivors include a son, William Frank Turner Jr. and his wife Beverly of Inman; a daughter, Ann Henderson and her husband William of Lyman; four grandsons, Kevin Turner of Lexington, Phillip and Brad Turner, both of Greenville, and Eric Henderson of Inman; a granddaughter, Dana Smith of Lyman; a great-grandson, Brandon Smith of Lyman; a great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Turner of Lexington; and a sister, Fern Whaley of Tennessee. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel conducted by the Rev. James B. Carter and Rev. Franklin Morris.
