Nannie Mae Easler Solesbee, 83, formerly of 754 Whitlock Street, died Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at Magnolia Manor of Inman. Born May 24, 1926, in Cowpens, SC, she was the daughter of the late Jonie Calvin and Mamie Camp Easler and the wife of 47 years to the late Richard Lee Solesbee. She attended Fairforest High School and was retired from Jordon Oil Company. She was Past Matron of Honor of the Eastern Star and a charter member of Grace Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher. Survivors include a son, Bob Solesbee and his wife Debbie of Duncan; a grandson, Lynn Solesbee of Simpsonville; a granddaughter, Gillian "Gilley" Roach of Spartanburg; a great-granddaughter, Anna Solesbee of Spartanburg; two great-grandsons, Ben Solesbee of Simpsonville, and Robert Moore of Spartanburg; and a special friend, Horace Tipton of Spartanburg. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 p.m. Thursday, February 4, 2010, at Grace Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Church conducted by the Rev. Edwin H. Bolton. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Drive, Columbus, NC 28722; or to Magnolia Manor, 63 Blackstock Road, Inman, SC 29349.
